Adapter Overview

SAP IBP is the supply chain management solution within the SAP ecosystem of offerings. Its embedded scheduler provides basic functionality and can only manage jobs within IBP.

With our adapter for SAP IBP, Tidal takes control of the scheduling activities in IBP and manages those tasks centrally in the Tidal Automation platform.

  • Retrieve IBP job templates (jobs and job groups)
  • Schedule IBP job templates
  • Get IBP job run status – did it succeed or fail
  • Get IBP job run info – what happened when the job was running
  • Cancel IBP jobs

By managing these IBP tasks within the Tidal platform, you are able to apply more advanced scheduling functionality such as using variables, defining dependencies and leveraging event-based scheduling models. And your IBP jobs are centrally managed within your overall business processes.

We offer a robust set of adapters for integrating Tidal with a variety of SAP solutions so that you can coordinate scheduling activities across your SAP ecosystem.
