This month marks Tidal’s three-year anniversary as an independent software company. We lifted the Tidal business out of Cisco based on the strong belief that we could build on its rich legacy as a leading workload automation solution trusted by some of the world’s largest companies for nearly 40 years.
With 100% focus on workload automation, we embraced a CustomerFirst philosophy – putting customers at the center of everything we do. We conducted hundreds of customer interviews in the early months to shape our priorities and direction.
An immediate outcome of that feedback was an overhaul to our support model to provide customers direct access to a Level 2 engineer for troubleshooting and problem resolution. Now, our technical support is continually cited by customers as truly exceptional.
Next, we invested heavily in product development and established a regular cadence to deliver three releases each year. We launched the rearchitected 6.5 version of the Tidal Automation platform in July of 2019 and have introduced numerous enhancements every four months since then, including new functionality for digital automation, developer integration and business process operations. We also launched two new products, Explorer and Repository, as powerful tools to support the core platform, and we continue to invest significantly in cloud support and delivery. With these advanced capabilities and our unmatched release velocity, we are reclaiming our leadership position in the workload automation market.
Ongoing collaboration through 1:1 sessions, user groups, quarterly Customer Advisory Board meetings, surveys and regular customer webinars is immensely important to us and will remain a cornerstone of our customer engagement, product planning and development, and overall strategic direction.
None of this would have been possible without all of you.
To our customers: Thank you for your continued loyalty and support. We are honored to have your trust and will strive to work every day to earn and keep it.
To our partners: Our collaborative relationships are crucial to bringing value to Tidal and our customers. We appreciate our partners for the expertise they provide to help us serve our customers around the world.
To our employees: Your passion and commitment to our customers is integral to Tidal’s success. I am privileged to work with such a talented and dedicated team as we continue to build and maintain our high-performance culture.
Finally, I want to thank the Managing Partners of Dillon Kane Group who had the vision and faith to invest in us and who have wholeheartedly continued to support and invest in Tidal, our community and marketplace.
I’m proud of what we have accomplished in our first three years and we have no intention of stopping there. We remain convinced there is substantial opportunity to build on our success in the market and to continue to deliver essential technology at great value. We look forward to bringing you more, innovative automation solutions in the years to come.
