The newest release of Tidal Intelligent Reporting for Tidal Enterprise Scheduler —is now generally available. Tidal Intelligent Reporting v1.1 provides IT executives, managers of scheduling teams, and IT staff with ongoing access to timely and accurate information about the performance of their scheduling environment and the jobs that comprise business processes.
Intelligent Reporting supports IT in detecting issues early so that SLAs are not compromised. Insight
provided by this Tidal product can also support the auditing and compliance process as well as new levels
of analysis and strategies to help you continuously improve business processes. Designed using SAP®
BusinessObjects, Tidal Intelligent Reporting includes a data warehouse that gathers the data needed by IT
and business managers alike to troubleshoot, trend, and analyze job scheduling performance across your
enterprise. The product comes with many predefined reports that cover the following categories:
- Top Items Reports: These job history reports help you prioritize problem management and performancetuning activities by identifying major contributors to inefficiencies in the batch processing environment, such as patterns of job failures and long-running jobs
- Audit and Compliance Reports: These reports document who, what, when, where, and why related to changes in the scheduling environment. They provide information on which to base change management and audit and compliance reporting
- Job Carryover Reports: These reports help your staff identify, understand, and reduce job carryover, which can cause missed service level objectives.
- Job Completion Status Reports: These reports provide a snapshot of the scheduling environment. They are useful in understanding progress of the schedule, including jobs that are completed, running, and waiting
- Operational Reports: These reports help in tuning the scheduling environment, understanding the most common causes of alerts, and improving alert resolution
- Run Volume Reports: These reports provide an hour by hour list of waiting running and finished jobs, showing the progression of the schedule throughout the day
Tidal Intelligent Reporting also enables rapid creation of custom reports, providing a flexible approach to meeting specific reporting needs. The reporting framework makes it possible to build skills in a widely used reporting and data management environment or to use skills that may be in house if you currently deploy SAP BusinessObjects.
Key Benefits:

- Enhance service levels and reduce problems through timely access to accurate scheduling performance information
