Flint Brenton, President and CEO |
|
Flint Brenton is a veteran of the technology industry with over 20 years of experience as a senior executive in the IT sector. Formerly Senior Vice President & General Manager of NetIQ's Security & Administration business unit, Flint has held leadership positions at NetIQ Corporation, Compaq Computer Corporation, BMC Software and IBM.
As Senior Vice President and General Manager at NetIQ, Flint dramatically increased revenues for the Security and Administration business unit through organic development as well as mergers and acquisitions. As Senior Vice President of Engineering, he managed the company's development staff of 500 across five locations and delivered all NetIQ products to market. Flint's team developed more than 100 major releases of existing products and four new products, winning over 20 "Product of the Year" awards.
Prior to NetIQ, Brenton was Vice President of Worldwide eCommerce for Compaq Computer Corporation, where he led the team that developed the company's global e-commerce strategy and built the online applications required to execute it. Brenton began his career in technology at IBM where he held a variety of sales and sales management positions, consistently ranking among the organization's top performers.
Following IBM, Brenton was general manager of European operations for I-Net Corporation, a networking services company. He then joined systems management leader BMC Software where he managed the assimilation of the Boole & Babbage products following BMC's acquisition. Brenton also started and grew BMC's MQ Series product line to become one of the company's most profitable business units.
Flint received a Masters in Business and Public Management from Rice University in 1984 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Union College in 1978. Flint also serves on the Board of Directors.

Charlie Velasquez, CPA - Vice President of Finance |
|
Charlie has worked in finance for over 14 years, beginning his career at accounting firm, KPMG. He has served in a variety of positions in vastly different industries, moving up the ladder from Senior Auditor at KPMG, to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at American Medical Response, to Corporate Controller at Smith and Hawken.
At American Medical Response he was responsible for all financial analysis functions while overseeing a $400 million revenue generating division. And, at Smith and Hawken, he played an instrumental role in helping prepare the company to go IPO while also preparing them for their first big five audit.
At Tidal, Charlie is responsible for leading the accounting and finance operations teams as well as human resources and contract services. As a member of the management team he developed strategic and operational concepts for finance, human resources and sales.

Christopher Kenessey, Vice President of World Wide Sales |
|
As Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Christopher Kenessey is responsible for building global sales and delivering
Tidal Software’s industry-leading solutions to market. He has broad experience in software sales management and has
also served as vice president and general manager of Tidal’s international operations. In this role, Christopher
established a technical, sales and support infrastructure that significantly expanded the company’s international
customer community to include the BBC, ING and Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to his international assignment, Christopher was vice president of sales for the Americas and was responsible
for field, internal and channel sales. Christopher has also held several operational roles that have directly impacted
sales, product development and customer satisfaction. Before joining the company, he held sales positions at Compuware
and Platinum Technology, where he consistently achieved quota and received awards for performance excellence.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana campus.

Ted Trimble, Senior Vice President of Engineering |
|
Ted has 25 years experience in hi-tech, fifteen of those years spent in research and development. As Senior VP of Engineering, at Tidal Ted is responsible for managing development, quality assurance, support, and user documentation of all of Tidal's products. He is also responsible for research and development of future products.
Previous to Tidal, Ted was Vice President of Engineering for the Security, Administration and Migration products business unit of NetIQ Corporation, where he managed the development of products that boosted the company's quarterly revenue growth by 95 percent within four quarters.
Before NetIQ, Trimble spent 14 years at BMC Software where he was Vice President, DB2 Solutions, and prior to that served in various operational and support roles for several large enterprise corporations' Information Technology divisions.

Steve Wu, Vice President of Engineering |
|
As Vice President of Engineering, Steve manages product development, quality
assurance, technical support and user documentation for Tidal Software products.
Prior to joining Tidal, Steve was vice president of engineering at ClearApp, a
software company that specializes in modeling J2EE application server environments for application
service management. Before ClearApp, Steve founded Edifice Systems, Inc., a provider of design
tools for IT infrastructure design automation, where he served as both president
and vice president of engineering. Earlier in his career, Steve held senior management positions
at NetIQ, a system and application performance management company, and at Tandem, a non-stop fault
tolerant computer system vendor.
Steve holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University.

Gary Sellers, Vice President of Development |
|
Gary Sellers leads the design, development, and documentation of company's
commercial software products. Gary brings over 25 years of experience in information technology
and software research and development to this role. With Tidal since 2004, Gary's leadership has
expanded Tidal's product line to cover new markets in support of the company's strategy. Prior
to Tidal, Gary was the Director of Development for BMC Software where he was responsible for the
design, development, testing, and support of the company's premier database utilities and
performance management software products. Gary also provided development leadership in other
areas within BMC such as data optimization and messaging middleware. Prior to BMC Software, Gary
provided operational and development services for several large enterprise information technology
companies such as Texaco and Wells Fargo.

Thomas Hooker, Vice President, Product & Field Marketing |
|
Thomas Hooker leads the management of all product and field marketing
efforts, as well as demand generation. Thomas brings over 20 years of technology marketing
and sales experience to this role. Over the course of seven years at Tidal, Thomas has held
several important roles in product management, development and marketing, and has played a
vital role in the successful release of many of Tidal's solutions. Prior to his current role
he served as director of product marketing, and as director of marketing and development. Prior
to Tidal, Thomas held a marketing and development positions at both BMC and Boole and Babbage.
Thomas holds a BS degree in both Computer Science and Business Administration from California
State University, Chico.

Wayne Greene, Vice President, Product Management |
|
Wayne Greene leads the product management team at Tidal. He also manages the
Tidal Enterprise Scheduler product line and drives the product strategy across the company.
Prior to Tidal, he was Director of Competitive and Market Intelligence at the Wily Technology
Division of Computer Associates. Prior to CA, Wayne was at Hewlett Packard for 18 years in a
variety of different roles, spending the last 6 years at HP in the Corporate IT and Outsourcing
Services division where he was responsible for the enterprise management toolset. He led a team
of approximately 120 engineers, was responsible for system, network, and application monitoring,
help desk ticketing and case exchange solutions, enterprise application integration, job
scheduling, data warehousing and reporting, and end user support portals. Wayne has a PhD f
rom University of California at Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science from M.I.T.

Patti Stephenson, Vice President, Professional Services |
|
Patti Stephenson leads the professional services organization at Tidal. Patti brings more than 20 years of rich customer experience to this role including support and services experience as well as sales and channels experience. At Tidal, Patti has served in a variety of roles since joining the company in 1998. Prior to her current role she was director of corporate account sales and drove the introduction of new Tidal products to the customer base. Previous to that, Patti managed the technical support group as it grew to serve over 500 customers worldwide. Patti began her career at Tidal as a technical support engineer then became lead trainer for key products. During her career Patti has also held a range of customer facing roles at other companies.

Shane Stevens, Vice President, Quality Engineering and Technical Services |
|
Shane Stevens has more than 13 years experience in quality engineering and technical support. As vice president of quality engineering and technical services at Tidal, he leads the teams responsible for supporting all product lines.
Before assuming this role, Shane was senior director of quality engineering, technical support and IT at Tidal where, among other responsibilities, he managed key customer accounts such as HP, Microsoft and the New York Stock Exchange, led teams that supported four product lines across multiple releases and developed the corporate project management process. Earlier, Shane was with systems management provider NetIQ. As manager of quality engineering - security products, he drove the project planning and management, quality metrics and project management processes. In addition, he integrated quality engineering teams following a $300 million acquisition.
Shane attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he studied computer engineering.
