Panorama Capital invests in passionate entrepreneurs building leading companies in life sciences and technology. Founded in 2005 as the successor to the venture capital program of JPMorgan Partners, we take a hands on, highly collaborative approach to investing, bringing to bear the team's extensive operating and investing experience to each portfolio company. The firm is managed by a seasoned group of life sciences and technology investors who collectively possess over 140 years of investment and industry experience. In addition to our extensive investing experience, we possesses broad experience as executives, entrepreneurs, engineers, and physicians. This collective experience gives Panorama Capital a powerful combination of technical, entrepreneurial, operational, and transactional expertise to help foster the development of our portfolio companies.

Novus Ventures

Novus Ventures was founded by Dan Tompkins in 1994 with the goal of forming a venture capital team whose collective talents and experience could help build great companies. After raising their second fund in 2000 and merging with Artemis Ventures in the summer of 2002, the Novus Ventures team comprises seven seasoned investment professionals managing a total of $150 million.

From the outset, the approach has been two-fold: provide optimal funding for promising early-stage companies; and contribute Novus resources and participation to these ventures to help them grow and flourish in the dynamic, challenging high-tech business world.

After investing in a portfolio company, Novus is committed to a working process that melds seasoned management expertise with the entrepreneurial vision and drive of its portfolio companies.

The approach has proved successful. Headquartered in Cupertino, California, Novus currently has $150 million under management, serves a roster of 26 active portfolio companies, and offers the collective talent of six principal working partners.

As a full-service team with deep resources, we have helped more than 600 companies complete IPOs or M&A transactions - a building process that takes place side-by-side with the portfolio companies' management teams
